The Droid 2 model is one amongst the many Motorola models that have impressed. This phone model that is an improvement of the original Motorola Droid spots very many differences when compared to its predecessor. The first difference is the color of the top outer casing. Whereas the original Droid has a black casing with a margin on the sides, the Droid 2 is shiny at the top. On the other hand the original Droid back side is all black whereas the Droid 2 Reviews has a kind of a blue hue at the back. This observation is important because it is the first thing one is likely to see when the two phones are placed against each other. However the main difference is in the functionality.
I have used the original Droid as well as the Droid 2 for quite some time now. One thing that used to bother me when using the original Droid was the design of the keyboard. It was rather small and this posed a challenge to me when typing. However the Droid 2 Reviews has sorted this problem by designing a larger keyboard with raised keys and no directional pad.
I have always loved storing music, videos and photos on my phone and when i started using the original Droid i had to revert to using an external micro SD which i was not used to. This was because the phone only supported 256 MB of internal memory. Too tiny for me! Then came the Droid 2 and i had to switch immediately. 8 GB of internal memory was massive and my kind of stuff. Furthermore the phone is supported by a 1 GHZ processor and 512 MB of Random Access Memory. A super speed for a phone i must acknowledge.
The other thing that amazed me about the Droid 2 Reviews is its browser functionality. The speed at which the browser is operating is just way above that of the original Droid as well as many other phone models. What more, the browser supports multi tap gestures and allows the user to open multiple windows just like in a personal computer. This enabled me to multi task. The browser is compatible with the various versions of HTML including 5. The web experience with this phone is one i will never forget.
I ha d a problem with many phone manufacturers. They manufacture very good phones with very good features and capabilities but forget one important thing. If the battery does not have charge then you are as good as without the phone itself. Many phone shave very low quality that do no last for long without having to recharge. However the Motorola Droid 2 has a battery life that even supersedes that of the ultra modern smartphones. I have been using this phone for more than a week without having to connect it for recharging. Remember i am an addict of the internet and use it heavily!
My experience with the Droid 2 has been wonderful. I have enjoyed and still continue to enjoy the services of this phone and would certainly recommend it to anyone who wishes to try.
